SCIENCE EXHIBITIONS


Every year the school organizes science exhibitions in which the the students get an opportunity to display their projects. The school regularly sends its participants to participate at the regional level science exhibitions organized by CBSE every year. The participants of the school have already attended the national level science exhibition held in New Delhi in 2008 after getting selected at the regional level.


PARENT-TEACHER MEETING


As per the aspiration of the CBSE that parents should be treated as partners in the teaching learning process, the school conducts parent-teacher meetings at regular intervals. The constructive ideas taken from the parents are implemented for the better development of the learners. The school has been giving special emphasis to the feelings, hopes and aspirations of the parents.


BUS FACILITY


The school provides bus facility to the day-school students. Presently it runs six buses and seven other small vehicles to bring children from remote areas where providing the bus facility is not viable.
 

HOUSES


The school is divided into four houses. The four houses are guided by senior and experienced teaching staff of the school. The aim of diving and re-diving the students into houses year after year is to develop competitive spirit among them. For this purpose, intra-house and inter-house competitions are held every Saturday and the house that collects the highest point in the inter-house competitions is rewarded in the end.
 

SEPARATE AIR COOLED HOSTELS
 

The school has two separate well maintained hostels for boys and girls. One of the hostels is air-cooled and the other hostels are supplied with adequate number of air coolers. Experienced wardens have been appointed to look after the boarders.
 

24 HOUR HEALTH CARE FACILITY


24 hour health care facility is available to the students residing in the hostels. The boarders are visited by trained doctors every day morning and evening. In case of any criticality, the child is immediately taken to the hospital and timely treatments is given to him. In such cases the parents are immediately informed about the matter.
 

DINING FACILITY :  SERVING HYGIENIC AND TASTY FOOD
 

The dining hall is well maintained. Special care is taken to see that the cleanliness of the dining hall is properly maintained. Hygienic and tasty food is served to the boarders. For all the seven days of a week, different items of breakfast are served. The dining hall is looked after by the catering in-charge.
 

BOOKS AND STATIONERY STORE OF ITS OWN
 

The school has a books and stationery store of its own which caters to the needs of the students.

  8. Socks ( white ) 4 pairs

  9. Shoe polish (white) 1 no.

  10. Shoe polish (black) 1 no.

  11. Soap case 2 nos.

  12. Slippers 2 pairs

  13. Trunk with lock and key 1 no.

  14. Bucket 1 no.

  15. Mug 1 no.

FOR THE INFORMATION OF PARENTS OF BOARDERS


Parents/ guardians shall not visit their wards frequently as it disturbs the tenor of the pupil and school activities.
Parents are permitted to take their wards to home only during Dussera, Pongal and Summer holidays. Only under pressing circumstances, the wards may be permitted to go home with prior permission of the school authority.
The parents can meet their wards only during the last Sundays of every month.
The discretion of the school authority is however final in such matters.
